Circular Spaces

“Circular Spaces” by Mirta Narosky

The series “circular Spaces” that started in 2000 is perhaps the most “conceptual” in terms of content as far as its concerned. I raise large areas of saturated color, content, about to explode. Unstable and undefined, compact or traversable, ethereal light sources spaces … All around the society of man; fast, technological cities, existential being conflicts. The interaction between the “two worlds” of the work, proposes a permanent concern. That discomfort is artistically effective as dichotomy: expressionist iconography metaphysical world and vice versa.
In terms of content: A brief outline about “us”, our internal time, our sensibility, adapted or not megacities we have built, to “serve” the mass of men.

Critical text

Luis Felipe Noé – Painter. Fine arts theoretician .

… Humans leaning out voids that are contemplated from emptiness, buildings that are barriers between them, mass solitudes or lonely crowds.
Mirta puts in pictures-color drawings with categorical color backgrounds . Here the color-that old anarchist bomb dropping – is a lonely cry that expands with full force.
In Mirta Narosky paintings, men and women overlook or dance in the empty-cry, either blue, red or yellow.

In terms of content: A brief outline about “us”, our internal time, our sensibility, adapted or not megacities we have built, to “serve” the mass of men.
